Cancellation & Refund Policy

JAIN AND ASSOCIATES offers two different things, and they are treated differently here. Digital tools - the calculators and downloads on this site - are covered by the access-based terms immediately below. Professional engagements - drafting a deed or an agreement, registering a PAN, filing a return - are quoted individually, paid in two parts, and covered by the section after them.

• Cancellations before access is granted: Cancellation requests will be considered if made immediately after placing the order, provided access to the paid tool or service has not yet been activated or delivered. Once access has been granted and the tool is available for use, cancellation may not be entertained.
• Service not functioning as described: If the tool or service you purchased does not perform as described on our website, please report this to our Customer Service team within 7 days of purchase. We will investigate and, if the issue is verified on our end, offer a resolution which may include a fix, a replacement, or a refund at our discretion.
• Technical issues or access problems: If you are unable to access the service due to a technical error on our part, please contact us within 30 days of purchase. Our team will assess the issue and, if we are unable to restore access, process an appropriate refund.
• Service not matching expectations: If you feel the tool or service received is materially different from what was shown or described on the site, please bring this to the notice of our Customer Service team within 30 days of purchase. The Customer Service Team, after reviewing your concern, will take an appropriate decision.
• No refunds for change of mind: Since our products are digital and access is granted instantly upon payment, we do not offer refunds for change of mind or if the service is simply no longer needed after access has been used.

Professional engagements

• The 50% advance is non-refundable. Engagements are quoted individually and paid 50% to begin and 50% on delivery. The advance is what commits our time to your file, and work starts the day it reaches us. Once paid it cannot be refunded, whether or not you choose to proceed.
• The balance is only due on delivery. You are never asked to pay for work you have not seen. If you decide not to go ahead once the draft is delivered, nothing further is payable - the most you can be out is the advance.
• Costs paid to others are not ours to refund. Stamp paper, notarisation, the PAN application fee and any bank or depository charges are paid by you directly to whoever levies them, and never form part of our fee.
